God So Loved the World by Jeanette Sthamann

The gift of Jesus has been freely extended to the whole world, to all who will come to Him for life. This painting is a beautiful expression of the love and salvation of Christ. I am happy to have a print of this piece framed in my own home and feel the presence of the Lord when I look at it, because I am reminded of His extravagant love. He is so rich towards us!

God So Loved the World by Jeanette Sthamann

Oil on canvas

"For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."  (John 3:16-17)

God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so He could have relationship with us. His sacrifice is the ultimate gift, a gift of reconciliation of love and everlasting life to all those who believe! His blood is powerful, it’s pure, it’s protective and it brings life! With the imagery I really wanted to highlight the world... His love for the world... "He So Loved the World”... that He gave His one and only Son!
